The 30 Days Wild Challenge


30 Days Wild is a month-long nature challenge taking place this June.  The Wildlife Trusts are asking people to sign up and do something wild every day for a whole month - and make nature part of their everyday life.

  3. Ian, thanks for your encouragement. Good Luck with the Challenge. I visited Salts Mill on Saturday and saw the Hockney Exhibition "The Arrival of Spring". He made a different picture for each day of May all on a 10 mile section of country road near Bridlington. There is a great quote of his at the start of the exhibition. “What I began to call Action Week, when the cow parsley (Queen Anne's lace) seems to grow a few feet in about a week, always comes around early May. A very exciting time, I thought, especially with the hawthorn, of which there is a lot on Woldgate. If this were Japan at a a time like that, I'd tell people, there would be thousands of cars driving round to take it all in; but here we are lucky, we have it all to ourselves”. So go for it!
